Fees
Initial Intake
Initial intake sessions are 60 minutes and billed at $275
Intake sessions provide us with the opportunity to better understand you and what is bringing you to therapy.
As we get to know each other, we'll explore your story, your past, present, and what you'd like to build in the future as we establish treatment goals.
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy and EMDR sessions are 55 minutes and billed at $225
Ongoing sessions are where we work steadily toward your goals.
Therapy sessions are unique to you and what you're working on.
This can include processing experiences, emotions, and learning new skills and ways of being.
EMDR Intensives
Intensives start at $500
EMDR Trauma Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
EMDR intensive sessions are available for those seeking additional time to assess and reprocess negative life experiences.
Extended sessions, half-day and full-day formats are available, each planned around what you want to work on.
My fees reflect my doctoral training and specialized EMDR training. I intentionally keep a reduced caseload in order to preserve the utmost time and attention to your individual care. Beyond our time together in session, this fee also represents additional time spent in pre- and post-session preparation including treatment planning, research, and continuing education.
Using your out-of-network benefits
I'm in-network with Aetna through Headway. For most other PPO plans, I'm an out-of-network provider, and I use Thrizer, a secure billing platform that submits your claims directly to your insurance after each session. There are no superbills to fill out or mail. You pay for your session by credit card, HSA, or FSA, and any reimbursement your plan allows is sent to you by check or direct deposit. If you'd rather not wait for reimbursement, Thrizer also offers Instant Reimbursement: for a small fee, you pay only your estimated share at the time of your session.
Many PPO plans reimburse part of each session once your deductible is met. Your exact reimbursement depends on your plan, deductible, and coinsurance, and I'm happy to help you understand your benefits before we begin.
